Our Take

Classic Toronto pub with serious beer and a reliable burger

Based on 1,373 reviews

great beer selectionclassic neighbourhood pub atmospherebeloved back patio

loud on weekendsfood is competent but not destination-worthy

Best for: After-work pints for east-end regulars who want a proper pub, not a sports bar
Summer patio sessions on the back garden (one of the Danforth's best outdoor spots)
Beer nerds looking for imports and craft taps in a neighborhood setting
Low-key first dates where the vibe does the heavy lifting
Busiest: Friday–Saturday evening (6–9pm)
